Unitary gauge and renormalization
Description
We illustrate how a seemingly gauge invariant theory has its gauge invariance violated. This occurs when the gauge in question, is 'singular'. This is shown in the following example in which we use the Abelian Higgs model to describe the scattering of two vector bosons. (author)
