Segregation of a copper-nickel alloy after electron irradiation
Description
In the present work measurement of diffuse neutron scattering are used to determine short range segregation effects of the alloy Cu0sub(.)414 Ni0sub(.)586 after thermal annealing and 3 MeV electron irradiation in the temperature range between 370 K and 600 K. In addition neutron small angle scattering measurement are performed after irradiation to study possible long range segregation effects. Residual resistivity measurements are performed in parallel in order tp orientate the relatively expensive neutron scattering measurements with respect to the residual changes (orig./KBI)

In dieser Arbeit soll die Messung der diffusen Neutronenstreuung dazu herangezogen werden, um den Nahentmischungsgrad der Legierung Cu0sub(.)414-Ni0sub(.)586 nach thermischer Anlassbehandlung sowie nach 3-MeV-Elektronenbestrahlung im Temperaturbereich zwischen 370 K und 600 K zu bestimmen. Zusaetzlich soll durch Messungen der Neutronen-Kleinwinkelstreuung nach Bestrahlung eine moegliche Fernentmischung des Systems untersucht werden. Parallele Messungen des elektrischen Restwiderstandes dienen im Vergleich mit den Ergebnissen frueherer Arbeiten dazu, die relativ aufwendigen Neutronenstreumessungen gezielt an der zeitlichen Aenderungen des Restwiderstandes zu orientieren.
