Problems of studying chromium distribution in the weld-base material transition zone during building-up with NiCrSiB powder fillers
Creators
Description
Investigation of chromium distribution in the surface weld-base material transition zone is described when building-up with powder materials containing Ni-Cr-Si and B. It follows from the present results, that radioactive isotope application makes it possible to measure the effective diffusion factor characterizing the building-up process. The above factor was measured in the range of (1.42-3.68)x10-7cm2xs-1. It was found that the metallurgical process is more probable during building-up than that of diffusion type
