Formation of η' resonance in two photon interaction
Description
In this thesis we have measured the cross section of the two photon reaction into the η'resonance. The experiment took place in PETRA, the electron - positron ring at DESY, Hamburg. The measurement was done in two different modes. The first is when the two photons were nearly real, in this case we measured the q' radiative width. The second is when one of the photons was far from its mass shall. In this case we measured the the form factor dependence on 'the Q2 'of tile virtual photon. We found that χγγ = 4.05 ± .15 ± .47 KeV , where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. According to this result we calculated the mixing angle between η1 and η8 . We also fitted the result for the Q2 dependence in order to compare it to tile different models. (author) 51 refs., 37 figs., 13 Tabs
