Low-energy ΣN scattering parameters: K-matrix analysis
Creators
Description
The recently reported new Σ±p cross-section data have been used to evaluate the low-energy scattering parameters in terms of the reaction K-matrix formalism. In the analysis the Coulomb contributions to the scattering processes were explicitly incorporated into the formalism. Out of the three sets of values obtained in a fit of the six scattering parameters, two are consistent with the observed rise in the forward Σ⁺p differential elastic scattering.
