Efficiency of application of macro- and microfertilizers for peas-oats mixture on the soils contaminated with radionuclides

  • 1. Institute for Soil Science and Chemistry, Minsk (Belarus)

Description

The parameters of Cs137 and Sr90 transfers in green mass and grain of peas-oat crop mixture under influence of mineral fertilizers was designed. It is found that use of mineral macro- and microfertilizers can decrease radionuclide transfers from soil to crop in 2 times. The role of phosphorus fertilizers in decrease of Sr90 contents in a pea grain on the average for two years was 19%, in oat grain-16%. Application of potassium fertilizers in the rate 180 kg/ha on background P60 has provided decrease of Cs137 contents on the average for two years in the pea grain on 44%, in oat grain-on 52%, Sr90 on 31%
