On some new effects in a relativistic magnetized plasma
Description
Linear waves in equilibrium and nonequilibrium plasma with arbitrary relativistic temperature are considered within the framework of the Lorenz-invariant theory of weakly magnetized plasma. Such new effects as step dependence of Landau damping on frequency, instability of distribution from platon in relation to longitudinal waves excitation, presence of the regions of abnormally high particle interaction with the wave of the optical caustic type, are characteristic for weakly magnetized plasma
