Two-pion Bose-Einstein Correlations in Central Pb-Pb Collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 2.76 TeV
Description
The first measurement of two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations in central Pb-Pb collisions at √(ovr sNN) = 2.76 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider is presented. The pion source radii and the decoupling time follow the trend established at lower energies and significantly exceed the ones measured at RHIC. The measurements are compared with model calculations.
