Does QCD have infrared renormalons

Description

A naive perturbative proof of the existence of infrared renormalons for large distance asymptotically free theories is given. It is argued that the extension of the result for small distance asymptotically free theories is not obvious. Indeed infrared renormalons for QCD are not found. (Author)

Da-se uma simples prova perturbativa da existencia de renormalons infravermelhos para teorias assintoticamente livres a grandes distancias. Argue-se que a extensao do resultado para teorias assintoticamente livres a pequenas distancias nao e obvia. Nao encontram-se realmente renormalons infravermelhos para CDQ. (L.C.)
