Description
Radiation therapy facilities in Christian Medical College, Vellore (India) are discussed in brief. High energy electron beam therapy with a 42 MeV betatron and telecobalt-60 unit are explained. Oral malignancies constitute a very large proportion of clinical load and a new modality of radiation therapy is very useful and effective for certain kind of tumours specially of oral cavity.
