Changes in trachea and bronchus mucosa of dogs as estimated by bronchoscomy data obtained after the combined exposure to 239Pu and gamma-radiation and separate application of both factors
Description
It was established that under conditions of combined exposure of dogs to external γ- and internal α-radiation, a preirradiation with 51.6 mC/kg γ-rays prevents the development of the signs of endobronchitis which are typical for endobronchitis induced by inhalation of submicron 239Pu dioxide and manifested by hyperemia of trachea and bronchus mucosa, edema, and the presence of mucopurulent exudate
