Magnetooptical properties of CdCr2Se4 single crystals with high indium content

Description
The effect of In (x <= 3.97 wt.%) on the spectral dependences of the absorption coefficient and specific Faraday rotation of CdCr2Se4 monocrystals is investigated. For x >= 1.08 wt.% a drop in the Faraday rotation peak is observed, that is associated with disappearance of the structure in the absorption edge range, as well as a blurred edge of the fundamental absorption
