32P uptake by wheat from sources under various moisture regimes

Description
P fertilizers containing varying amounts of water soluble and citrate soluble P were evaluated under two (100 and 50 per cent field capacity) moisture regimes on wheat in a pot culture experiment using 32P technique. It was found that inorganic P sources if combined or complexed with organic matters greatly help P availability in black soils having pH 8.0 and 9.1. However, reduced moisture considerably decreased total P uptake. (author)
