Description
We present the first results from the measurement of event-by-event fluctuation in the K/π ratio for Au+Au collisions at √sNN=20, 62.4, 130 and 200 GeV at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. We observe that the strength of dynamical fluctuation decreases with increasing centrality for all centre-of-mass energies of the collisions. The excitation function for the dynamical fluctuation in the event-by-event K/π ratio for central collisions will be presented. The results will be compared with fluctuations obtained at SPS energies
