Gluon bremsstrahlung corrections to the amplitude zero in W-->jet+jet+γ
Description
First order QCD corrections are examined for the decay W-->jet+jet+γ which in lowest order has a line of zeros through the Dalitz plot. In the null zone one-loop corrections vanish so only real gluon emission need be considered. The singular parts of the gluon bremsstrahlung amplitude are shown to factorize with respect to the zero condition expressed in terms of the jet variables, leaving a manifestly finite correction at the zero which is evaluated numerically. The correction to the null zone is found to be small. (orig.)
