Study of a current preamplifier associated to the cathode planes of multiwire proportional chambers
Description
A hybrid current preamplifier is described; associated to a multiwire chamber, it allows the measurement of charges induced on cathode planes. It is possible to obtain an information proportional to ionizing particle energy loss. The experiments performed at Lyon synchrocyclotron are presented; energy losses being measured with the multiwire chamber, and the energy with a jonction diode

On decrit dans cette etude un preamplificateur de courant de type hybride; celui-ci associe a une chambre multifils permet la mesure de la charge recueillie sur les plans cathodiques. On peut ainsi avoir une information proportionnelle a la perte d'energie d'une particule ionisante. Les tests effectues aupres du synchrocyclotron de Lyon sont presentes, la mesure de perte d'energie etant effectuee avec la chambre a fils, la mesure d'energie avec une diode jonctionFiles
