Description
Spheres of 5.1, 6.4, 7.6, 10.7, and 12.7 cm in diameter were used in cooperation with a semiconductor DTN-1 solid state track detector with 235U. The neutron spectrum was calculated using three different techniques, ie., the SPEC program seeking the solution as a linear combination of model spectra, the BONNER program based on the statistical control method, and the SAMD-ADT iteration program based on the SAND II algorithm. The spectra and the corresponding neutron flux densities in the region of 0.01 eV to 10 MeV were analysed and compared. (H.S.)
