New portable thermoelectric generator for electrification of rural households

Description
We present progress of this year in developing of a portable thermoelectric generator for electrification of rural households which uses wood stoves or other heat source. Because it employ a water bath as a heat sink, is experimentally studied a mixed system that provides hot water for home, and simultaneously improving the thermal control of the thermoelectric generator. Abstract (Spanish)
Se presentan los avances logrados este año en el desarrollo de un termogenerador portátil para electrificación inicial de hogares rurales trabajando sobre una cocina a leña u otra fuente térmica. Dado que utiliza un baño de agua como sumidero de calor, se estudia experimentalmente un sistema mixto que provee de agua caliente al hogar, y a la vez, mejora el control térmico del termogenerador. Este sistema obtiene sinergias entre ambos sistemas y permite obtener dos productos interesantes en hogares rurales. (autor)Files
