Polarizability of nuclear matter in a fissile nucleus and charge distribution of fission fragments

Description
The method for calculating the deformation potential energy of fissioning nucleus and the parameters of charge distribution is suggested. The method allows to take into account variation of charge density for any deformations of fissioning nucleus through which it passes from the saddle point to scission. The deformation energy is calculated by the Strutinsky shell correction method
