Calculation of α-particle ranges in multicomponent substances
Description
A method for calculating alpha particle ranges (anti R in multicomponent substances is described on the basis of alpha particle stopping power dE/dx. The study is aimed at obtaining the boron concentration and distribution in thin surface layers of semiconductors, glassy metals and biological objects. Anti R values versus alpha particle energy losses and chemical compositions of substances under investigation are presented in tables. The anti R limits for different compounds are given
