Description
A closure device is described for a handling vessel of a fast nuclear reactor cooled by a liquid metal, such as sodium, comprising a vertical vessel containing the core and a given volume of sodium contained in the vessel, marking above the core a free level capped by an inert gas cushion, a thick horizontal slab above the gas cushion and forming the upper closure of a protective casing around the vessel, a sloping ramp plunging into the down to a loading and unloading station, a second sloping ramp connecting the interior of the handling lock to a second loading and unloading station located inside the casing in a storage bin, a trolley carrying the handling vessel capable of moving along the ramps to transfer the vessel from a position where it is immersed in the sodium to one where it is introduced into the inert gas atmosphere above the sodium level. This handling vessel is open at its upper end so that when it is in a vertical position on its trolley at the loading/unloading station, the assembly to be handled can be introduced or withdrawn

On decrit un dispositif de fermeture pour pot de manutention d'un reacteur nucleaire a neutrons rapides refroidi par un metal liquide tel que du sodium, comprenant une cuve a axe vertical contenant le coeur et un volume determine de sodium contenu dans cette cuve, delimitant au-dessus du coeur un niveau libre surmonte d'un matelas de gaz inerte, une dalle horizontale epaisse placee au-dessus du matelas de gaz et constituant la fermeture superieure d'un caisson de protection entourant la cuve, une rampe inclinee plongeant dans la cuve jusqu'a un poste chargement-dechargement, une seconde rampe inclinee reliant l'interieur du sas de manutention a un second poste de chargement-dechargement situe a l'exterieur du caisson dans un recipient de stockage, un chariot porteur du pot de manutention, apte a se deplacer dans les rampes en realisant le passage du pot d'une position ou il est immerge sous le niveau de sodium a une position ou il est introduit dans l'atmosphere de gaz inerte au-dessus du niveau de sodium. Ce pot est ouvert a son extremite superieure pour permettre, lorsqu'il se trouve dispose en position vertical sur son chariot aux postes de chargement-dechargement, l'introduction ou le retrait de l'assemblage a manutentionnerAdditional details
