Verification of the sup(83m)Se(Tsub(1/2=69.2 s) decay scheme

Description

The decay scheme of sup(83m)Se (Tsub(1/2)=69.2c) is improved. The sup(83m)Se nuclei sources have been obtained by neutron irradiation of enriched metal selenium (74.6%82Se). Gamma-spectra and those of γγ-coincidences are investigated. The energies and relative gamma intensity of the sup(83m)Se decay and the scheme of the 83Br levels are presented. The results obtained are analyzed and compared with known data. The spectrum of 83Br excited states is compared with sup(79,81)Br spectra in order to ascribe correct spin and parity to the 83Br levels
