The influence of boundary conditions and co-vibrating liquid on the frequency spectrum of spheric bottom model for the PWR reactor core barrel
Description
The effect of boundary conditions and co-vibrating fluid on vibration properties was studied on a model of the spherical bottom of the WWER type reactor supporting cylinder placed in air and in still water. The results are given of the experimental study of the two types of supporting cylinder suspension. Measurements and calculations were primarily concentrated on finding the frequency spectrum of the model for vibrations in axially symmetrical vibration shapes; damping coefficients were also studied. The results obtained on the model can be applied to an actual supporting cylinder spherical bottom. (Z.M.)
