A BGO detector array used for isospin effect research of hot nuclei

Description
The small angle correlation function of the intermediate mass fragment in the reactions 36Ar + 112,124Sn at 35 MeV/u were measured with an array of E(Si) + E(BGO) telescopes. The resolution of the relative momentum is improved by the careful calibration of the BGO scintillators in the current geometrical arrangement of the detector array. The experimental results show that this array is advantageous for the research of isospin effect on the emission time scale of intermediate mass fragments. (authors)
