Photo-reactions in the intermediate energy region
Description
In this talk the reaction mechanism of photons (Esub(γ) > 50 MeV) with nuclei will be discussed. Both the few nucleon systems for which theoretically the most reliable wave functions exist and those more complex systems (16O) where nuclear structure effects show up more clearly, have been taken into consideration. The combination of good quality photon beams with computer controlled data monitoring enables exclusive measurements with a good overall accuracy of approximately 3% possible. In addition polarisation measurements will help to come close to a situation to perform, in certain cases, complete experiments. (Auth.)
