Lithium intercalation in higher oxides of molybdenum and tungsten
- 1. Saratovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)
Description
Using the methods of chemical, X-ray diffraction and thermal analyses, the composition, structure and thermal stability of Lisub(x)MoOsub(3) and Lisub(x)WOsub(3), prepared in the process of low-temperature chemical intercalation of lithium in MoO3 and WO3 in n-butyllithium solutions, are investigated. It is established, that the structure of intecalates does not depend on lithium content and is similar to the structure of initial oxides. Lisub(x)MoOsub(3) and Lisub(x)WOsub(3) are nonequilibrium phases, differing from bronzes of the same composition in the width of homogeneity region, structure and thermal stability
