Description
Abstract Gravity-feed reflooding experiment was conducted in a natural circulation loop of liquid nitrogen. During the cooling of high temperature tube, several modes were observed, i.e. initial rapid cooling with steam binding, relatively long-time plateau, gradual decrease with/without flow oscillation, and final drastic decrease at quenching process. In this investigation, the relationship between these cooling characteristics and flow oscillation was explained. (author)
