Overexpression of MDM2 and p53 proteins in human radiation-induced skin ulcer

Description
We used MDM2 and p53 monoclonal antibodies and immunohistochemical method to study 25 cases of human radiation-induced skin ulcer. It was found that the positive rate for overexpression of MDM2 was 36%(9/25) and for that of p53 was only 8%(2/25). The result suggests that the molecular pathological changes in MDM2 and p53, genes and proteins might be involved in cancer transformation of human radiation induced skin ulcer
