Separation of actinides from HAW solution
Creators
- 1. Chalmers Tekniska Hoegskola, Goeteborg (Sweden)
Description
A process is suggested for separating the actinides from a highly active waste solution resulting from conventional Purex reprocessing of LWR fuel. Tests have been made using a simulated HAW solution with a composition representative for BWR fuel at 27.000 MWd/ton burnout
