1986 CERN school of physics

Description

The CERN school of physics is intended to give young experimental physicists an introduction to the theoretical aspects of recent advances in elementary particle physics. These proceedings contain reports of lecture series on the following topics: introduction to symmetries and gauge theories, quark dynamics, experimental tests of gauge theories, proton antiproton collider results and detectors, physics at LEP, superphysics, and quantum black holes.
