Mechanical strength properties of claystone in Tamusu under different temperatures
- 1. Key Laboratory of Nuclear Resources and Environment, Ministry of Education, East Chian Institute of Technology, Nanchang (China)
Description
Servo Test System is used to get mechanical properties of claystone in Tamusu area in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region under different temperatures. The data shows that Tamusu claystone overall performance of brittle deformation, only showed a significant shaping at high temperature and pressure conditions under normal atmospheric temperature, 60 Celsius degrees, 90 Celsius degrees temperature, 10, 20 and 30 MPa surrounding rock pressure. It showed that the significant plastic deformation may be observed under the elevated temperature and pressure conditions. The findings can be available for high-level radioactive waste repository siting. (authors)
