Transport coefficients in the T-11 tokamak plasma

Description
Electron thermal conductivity factors obtained earlier in experiments at the T11 installation ignoring energy losses due to plasma diffusion are refined. The account of diffusion losses under conditions with low plasma density is shown to reduce approximately twice the χe values, determined from the electron energy balance, and to leads to the D/Xe≅ 1/2 ratio, where D is the diffusion coefficient and χe is the electron thermal diffusivity. A transport model being consistent with the T11 data both at low and at high plasma density is described. The calculation results for this model are compared with the experimental data obtained at some other tokamaks under ohmic and additional plasma heating
