Description

First order QCD matrix elements predict a specific dependence in azimuthal angle (around the DIS current direction) of the produced jets which, at HERA energies, gives a new test of QCD. We show how the QCD Compton process can be used for this purpose, taking experimental effects into account. In the analysis we introduce a novelty in the jet finding procedure and we separate quark and gluon jets by using a neutral network. (orig.)
