Experimental readings of pressure profile on full and conducting spheres in presence of a magnetic field transverse to the average direction of the flow of a conducting liquid. Applying of a magnetic field introduces a dissymmetry on the pressure distribution. Evolution of this dissymmetry, of the stagnation point pressure and of drag coefficient for 107 <=Re<=13,450 and 0<=M<=160

Abstract (French)

Releves experimentaux de la distribution des pressions sur des spheres pleines et electroconductrices en presence d'un champ d'induction magnetique transversal a la direction moyenne de l'ecoulement d'un liquide electroconducteur. On note que l'application d'un champ magnetique introduit une dissymetrie dans la repartition des pressions. Evolution de cette dissymetrie, de la pression au point d'arret et du coefficient de trainee de pression pour 107<=Re<=13450 et 0<=M<=160
