A realistic separable nucleon-nucleon potential with regard to the Coulomb interaction
- 1. Graz Univ. (Austria). Inst. fuer Theoretische Physik
Description
A new non-local separable nucleon-nucleon potential for partial waves up to angular momenta l<=2 is presented. It is constructed to provide a reasonable description of all features of the two-nucleon interaction. In uncoupled partial waves where our model is either of rank 2 or 1 we obtain a good reproduction of the nuclear interaction. In the coupled partial wave state 3S1-3D1 our model is well suited to give an accurate description of the deuteron while a good fit to the scattering data (3S1 and 3D1 phase shifts and mixing parameter epsilon1) is maintained; in this channel we keep up a comparatively low rank (namely rank 3) what guarantees a good usability of our potential for problems with more than two nucleons involved.
