Experimental and calculated substation of the program for critical mass making-up and operation charge forming for WWER-K reactor core

The experimental and computational data that substantiate a possibility of renewal of operation of the research reactor WWER-K reactor are given. The configuration of new optimized, more energy-strength core of the WWER-K reactor has been determined via calculations and experiments. All calculation have been made by the Monte Carlo method in multigroup approximation and within three-dimensional-geometry by means of the MCU-RFFU code set. The statics sufficient (up 100,000 events) for neutron motion drawing have been amassed to maintain accuracy of calculation. The experiments have been made at the critical assembly of Inst. of Atomic Energy, Almaty branch of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic Kazakstan where the core completely simulating the WWER-K type reactor core. The order of reactor fueling has been determined experimentally. During the experiments the criticality of the assembly, the operating store of reactivity, keff, 'the weight' of all control rods have been measured
