Description
A new and simple photoactivation method for determination of exact maximal energy of photon spectra of medical linear accelerator is described. The method is illustrated on an 18 MeV medical linear accelerator using several very common activation detectors. Two different cases of Bremsstrahlung production are analyzed: One resulting from interaction of mono-energetic electrons and the other when the electrons have Gaussian spread in energy
