Description
Public concern about nuclear power is focused on three major issues: the safety of nuclear reactors, the safe custody of nuclear materials, and the safe disposal of radioactive wastes. Possible national and international programs and policies that would serve to allay these concerns are indicated, with the greatest emphasis on the latter aspect
