Production of kaons and hyperons in proton-nucleus collisions

Description
A method of calculation of the yields of kaons and hyperons in proton-nucleus collisions at intermediate energies is proposed. The method is based on the Reggeized one-pion exchange model and on the phenomenology of A universality of the yields of particles. It is shown that the proposed model allows one to describe the energy and A dependence of the spectra of strange particles. The whole description is given with absolute normalization
