A simple soluble model of self-organized criticality
Description
We describe briefly a recently introduced model of self-organized criticality which incorporates a preferred direction, and can be solved exactly in arbitrary dimension d. We show that the model has an interesting abelian group structure, which makes amenable to analytical study. In two dimensions, the model reduces to a special case of directed percolation.
