The problems of the coronal head scans by computerized tomography

It is referred on the importance but also on the problems of the coronal views in computed scanning and it is explained with some examples. For the coronal head scans by computer we have settled that the prone position with deflexion of the head better suits than the supine position. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird auf die Bedeutung, aber auch auf die Problematik der koronaren Schnittfuehrung bei der Computertomographie hingewiesen und anhand einiger Fallbeispiele das Gesagte erlaeutert. Es wird festgestellt, dass fuer die koronare Schichtung sich die Bauchlagerung des Patienten mit extremer Deflexion des Kopfes besser eignet als die Rueckenlage. (orig.)
