Operational experience with 15 months cycles and plans for modified fuel types at MVM Paks NPP
Description
The paper presents: current situation at Paks NPP;15 months cycles; Plans; Fuel Behavior Calculations. It is concluded that C15 is introduced successfully; Operating experience with the 4.7% Gd fuel is good. For economical reasons new fuel types are investigated. Calculations with thin cladding are promising. Negotiations between Paks NPP and TVEL are going on.
