Description
Vortex structures in nanoscopic superconducting network systems are discussed based on the de Gennes-Alexander theory and the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) theory. It is pointed out that the vortex patterns are strongly affected by the sample geometry, especially the shape of the boundary, and both the isolated vortices and the vortex stripes are possible near the transition temperature. However, at lower temperatures the vortex stripes tend to become isolated vortices because of the nonlinearity of GL equation
