Cryostability in force-cooled superconducting cables
Description
In past experiments with force cooled NbTi cabled conductors it was discovered that cryostability was essentially independent of coolant velocity. In order to verify these results, experiments using a 3m long cable with a Nb3Sn superconductor were carried out. New experimental results are presented which are compared with previous data. 5 refs
