Autodiagnosis by quantitative analysis of 201Tl myocardial seven-pinhole tomograms
- 1. Kanazawa Univ. (Japan). School of Medicine
Description
The author's diagnostic program of automatic quantitative analysis of the circumferential profile in 201Tl myocardial short axial tomography was introduced with the diagnostic results. Comparison between the autodiagnosis of seven-pinhole tomograms and visual analysis by 4 readers revealed that the sensitivity was 88% for the autodiagnosis and 72% for the visual analysis, the specificity 94% for both and the accuracy 91% and 84%, respectively. Having a high diagnostic ability, the method was thought to be useful in obtaining data supplementing the conventional reading. (Chiba, N.)
