Description

An overview of recent CDF and UA2 results on events with jets and direct photons is presented. The jet physics results include inclusive spectra, a CDF study of the transverse energy flow around the jet axis in comparison with recent next-to-leading order calculations and various investigations of two and three jet final states. The transverse momentum spectrum of inclusive single photons has been measured by both experiments and compared to QCD predictions. From events containing a photon and a recoiling jet the gluon structure function has been extracted by UA2. Both CDF and UA2 have performed a study of two photon final states.
