Determination of boundary of homogeneity region of cadmium sulphide

Description
Boundaries of cadmium sulphide homogeneity region on T-x- phase diagram of the Cd-S system are determined. It is shown, that using the method of dissolwed component isolation in vapour phase the boundary of homogeneity region of cadmium sulfide, coexisting with cadmium melt at 1170-1350 K, can be determined. Cadmium solubility grows with the increase in temperature from 4x10-5 to 20x10-5 g-at Cd/g-mol CdS
