Formation and rise of non-isothermal ionospheric and chromospheric bubbles

Description

The influence of nonisothermality was considered on dynamics of ionospheric and chromospheric bubbles. The possibility is shown for existence of recombination-thermal instabilities in the ionosphere which arise because of thermal dependence of recharge coefficient of molecules with atomic ions an analysis is made of its influence on formation and evaluation of equatorial bubbles. It is shown that formation and dynamics of bubbles may be conditioned by recombination processes and gravity forces. Plasma heating (mainly by vertical electric fields) leads to ''deepening'' and conservation of bubbles by their lifting. An assumption is made that bubbles formation may be connected with lifting of molecule clots in ionospheric ''whirlwind''
