Emission spectrometry system for analysing the composition of a gaseous mixture

Description

The description is given of an emission spectrometry system for analysing a gas mixture containing at least two gases or isotopes of the same gas each capable of emitting a luminous radiation, the wave lengths of these radiations being relatively close to each other. The system comprises an emission assembly in which the gas is placed, an assembly for the optical processing of the radiation comprising at least a diffraction grating able to diffract the beam emitted and a photomultiplier to convert the luminous radiations into electric signals

Abstract (French)

On decrit un dispositif a spectrometrie d'emission pour l'analyse d'un melange gazeux comprenant au moins deux gaz ou isotopes d'un meme gaz capables d'emettre chacun un rayonnement lumineux, les longueurs d'ondes de ces rayonnements etant relativement voisines. Le dispositif comporte un ensemble d'emissions dans lequel est place le gaz, un ensemble de traitements optiques du rayonnement comportant au moins un reseau de diffraction apte a diffracter le faisceau emis et un photomultiplicateur apte a convertir les rayonnements lumineux en signaux electriques
