Synthesis and properties of phases in the system BaCO3-PbO-Nb2O5

Description
Kinetic regularities and specific features of phase formation in a BaCO3-PbO-Nb2O5 system are determined. Solid-phase synthesis of binary niobates is accomplished. Isomorphous capacity (phase boundaries) is established for solid solutions of various structural types. All specimens are certified by the method of X-ray diffraction analysis. The resistance of synthesized niobates to acid media is studied. Electrical properties of lead-bearing niobates are investigated and composition-structure-property relationship are analyzed. With consideration for phase equilibria, chemical stability, electrical properties the most promising structural types and compositions are selected to be tested as ion-active materials
Abstract (Russian)
Установлены кинетические закономерности и особенности фазообразования в системе BaCO3-PbO-Nb2O5. Осуществлен твердофазный синтез двойных ниобатов. Оценена изоморфная емкость (границы областей существования) для твердых растворов различных структурных типов. Все образцы аттестованы рентгенографическим методом. Изучена устойчивость синтезированных ниобатов к действию кислых сред. Исследованы электротранспортные свойства свинецсодержащих ниобатов и проанализирована взаимосвязь состав-структура-свойства. С учетом фазовых равновесий, химической устойчивости, электрических свойств выделены наиболее перспективные структурные типы и составы для испытания в качестве ионоактивных материаловAdditional details
